ARTICLE 1 – PROVIDER IDENTITY

ARTICLE 2 – PURPOSE
These Terms and Conditions govern the online sale of the following services: riding lessons, riding clinics, and equestrian stays with accommodation, as well as any riding instruction and supervision services offered by the Provider. Any booking implies full acceptance of these Terms.
ARTICLE 3 – SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Services are described on the Provider’s website. Photos/illustrations are non-binding. The Provider may adjust scheduling, organization, assigned horses, disciplines or exercises depending on weather, safety requirements, horse welfare and/or the participant’s level. No refund shall be due for such adjustments.
ARTICLE 4 – PRICES
Prices are stated in euros (€), all taxes included. The Provider may change prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed at the time of booking.
ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT TERMS
Full payment is due at the time of booking. A booking is final only once full payment has been received. Without payment, the place is not guaranteed.
ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATION POLICY
6.1 Cancellation by the participant
– Cancellation more than 7 days before the start: 50% refund of amounts paid.
– Cancellation 7 days or less before the start: no refund.
– No-show: no refund.
The inability to attend (illness, accident, personal circumstances, transport strikes, personal force majeure, etc.) does not entitle the participant to any refund beyond the above rules. Personal cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. As a goodwill gesture only (no obligation), a reschedule may be offered subject to availability.
6.2 Cancellation by the Provider
If the Provider cancels due to unsafe weather, unexpected unavailability of a horse, insufficient participants, or force majeure, the Provider may offer a reschedule or refund all amounts paid. No additional compensation may be claimed.
ARTICLE 7 – NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date. Therefore, no right of withdrawal may be exercised once the booking is confirmed.
ARTICLE 8 – PARTICIPANT INSURANCE & DUTIES
The participant confirms they hold liability insurance covering horse riding (FFE license or equivalent). Proof may be requested upon registration or at the latest on the first day. If not provided, access may be refused with no refund. The participant confirms they are physically fit and will use appropriate equipment (helmet mandatory).
ARTICLE 9 – LIABILITY
Horse riding involves inherent risks. The participant acknowledges full awareness of these risks. The Provider holds professional liability insurance. The Provider shall not be liable in cases of participant fault, failure to follow instructions, or unforeseeable external events.
ARTICLE 10 – MINORS
Minors are accepted subject to the following:
– Under 16: a responsible adult companion must be present for the full duration of the stay (or as specified).
– Ages 16–18: written parental consent and a signed waiver by the legal guardian are required.
If required documents are missing, access may be refused with no refund.
ARTICLE 11 – ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS
Accommodation is located within the stable building. The participant acknowledges proximity to horses and accepts possible noise (night sounds, movements, etc.). Maximum capacity: two guests staying at the same time. Shared bedroom; each guest has an individual double bed. Shared common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, living spaces).
ARTICLE 12 – RIDING LEVEL
No minimum riding level is required. However, certain disciplines or exercises may be restricted if the participant’s level does not allow safe practice. Sessions are tailored to the participant’s level, experience, and physical ability. No guarantee of progress or results is provided.
ARTICLE 13 – IMAGE RIGHTS
Photos/videos may be taken for communication and promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials). Unless a written objection is submitted before the service starts, the participant grants the Provider a free license to use their image with no time limit and no compensation. For minors, consent must be given by the legal guardian.
ARTICLE 14 – INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
Services are delivered in France and governed by French law. For customers residing outside France (Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, the UK, etc.), booking implies exclusive acceptance of French law and the competent courts where the Provider is registered. Travel costs, specific insurance, and administrative formalities are the participant’s responsibility.
ARTICLE 15 – PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is collected solely for booking management, invoicing, and customer relations. In accordance with the GDPR, customers have rights of access, rectification, objection, and deletion under applicable regulations, by contacting the Provider at the email address listed in Article 1.
ARTICLE 16 – MEDIATION & DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Under Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, customers may use a consumer mediation service free of charge. As the Provider is not yet registered with a mediation body, the mediator’s full contact details will be provided once registration is completed. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts where the Provider is registered.
